MegaHouse’s GGG (Gundam Girls Generation) figure line, which brings the heroines of the Mobile Suit Gundam franchise to life as highly detailed collectibles, is expanding with a new release from the animated feature "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM." The company has announced the "Lacus Clyne Jinbaori Ver." figure, scheduled for release in March 2027.
Series heroine Lacus Clyne is the daughter of a leader from P.L.A.N.T.’s moderate faction and an idol singer who championed peace in both public and civilian circles. After several encounters with Kira Yamato, she resolved to take direct action to end the conflict between the Earth Alliance and P.L.A.N.T. Lacus left P.L.A.N.T., reunited with Kira, and helped establish an independent faction that played a pivotal role in ending two wars. By C.E. 75 in "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM," the formerly opposing Earth Alliance and P.L.A.N.T. joined the neutral Orb Union to establish the global peacekeeping organization COMPASS, with Lacus Clyne serving as its first president.
Standing approximately 22.5 cm tall, the "GGG Lacus Clyne Jinbaori Ver." figure captures Lacus’ more mature appearance from the movie and marks the long-awaited return of her jinbaori outfit. Her gentle expression and reassuring pose are recreated as she reaches out her hand. The scene imagines Lacus floating gracefully in the zero-gravity environment of space, with her long hair and skirt sculpted in dynamic motion. Every accessory and decorative element on the jinbaori ensemble has been carefully reproduced and finished with richly layered colors.
