BANDAI SPIRITS has revealed a new entry in its popular prize-every-time Ichiban Kuji line based on the anime feature film "Puella Magi Madoka Magica the Movie -Walpurgisnacht: Rising-," the long-awaited sequel to "Puella Magi Madoka Magica." The new "Ichiban Kuji Puella Magi Madoka Magica the Movie -Walpurgisnacht: Rising-" lottery will cost ¥870 per draw, including tax, and is scheduled to launch on February 6, 2027!

When "Puella Magi Madoka Magica" premiered in 2011, it sent shockwaves through the anime community and helped spark a decade-long wave of darker, more brutal magical-girl stories. It also popularized the now-famous "three-episode rule." "Walpurgisnacht: Rising" continues the story of "Puella Magi Madoka Magica the Movie -Rebellion-" and marks the franchise’s first all-new theatrical feature in nearly 13 years. This also marks the series’ first Ichiban Kuji release in seven years, following 2019’s "Ichiban Kuji Puella Magi Madoka Magica the Movie -Rebellion-." The lineup includes A through D Prizes and a Last One Prize, featuring all five magical girls seated atop their respective Soul Gems. Each Soul Gem and the gear-shaped platform above it are finished in a deep gold color, giving the display a suitably solemn presence. The figures also feature their updated costumes from "Walpurgisnacht: Rising," although it is a little disappointing that Madoka’s chains and the gold trim on Sayaka’s outfit do not receive metallic paint finishes.
