BANDAI SPIRITS has announced a new release for its popular prize-guaranteed lottery brand, Ichiban Kuji. Based on the hit series Chiikawa, the new Ichiban Kuji Chiikawa: Fun at the Amusement Park will be priced at 795 yen per draw, tax included, and is scheduled to launch in April 2027.
Chiikawa is a manga series created by Japanese artist Nagano. Its title is an abbreviation of the Japanese phrase “Nanka Chiisakute Kawaii Yatsu,” which roughly means “something small and cute.” Centered on Chiikawa, Hachiware, and Usagi, the story follows their everyday lives in a mysterious fantasy world. Beneath its cute and comforting appearance, however, the characters must work to earn money, hunt monsters, and overcome numerous challenges. Its stories blend laughter, tears, and heartfelt friendship, while the contrast between its lovable character designs and surprisingly harsh world has helped make Chiikawa one of Japan’s most popular franchises.
The newly revealed character artwork for Ichiban Kuji Chiikawa: Fun at the Amusement Park shows Chiikawa, Hachiware, and Usagi wearing new cream-inspired hats while carrying an oversized ice cream, a toy magic wand, and popcorn. The trio looks irresistibly adorable, but the highlight may be Usagi’s unusual short, floppy ears—a design that Usagi fans will not want to miss. The complete prize lineup has yet to be announced, with further details scheduled to be revealed at a later date. Stay tuned to TOY PEOPLE for more updates!
