Currently slated for December 2027, "Avengers: Secret Wars" has yet to officially reveal which Marvel Cinematic Universe veterans will return. But longtime franchise mainstay Samuel L. Jackson may have just spoiled his own comeback. During an exclusive interview with The Direct, Jackson unexpectedly revealed where fans will see Nick Fury next: in the highly anticipated Secret Wars showdown.

Jackson told The Direct, "I'm in the next one—the movie after 'Avengers: Doomsday.' But I have no idea what the story is. MARVEL hasn't told me anything. They only said, 'You're not going to be in this movie. You'll be in the next.'"
Meanwhile, another potential cast addition for "Avengers: Doomsday" has surfaced. Fans noticed that a profile on the British Stunt Register appeared to reveal "Anatomy of a Fall" star Sandra Hüller's involvement, with a stunt performer listing Hüller, Hayley Atwell and several other actresses among the stars she doubled for on the film. A three-month-old Reddit claim has also resurfaced alleging that Hüller plays one of the witches aligned with Doctor Doom. Taken together, the clues strongly suggest Hüller will appear in the movie, though Marvel Studios has yet to officially announce her casting or role.
