Kotobukiya’s Frame Arms Girl DURGA I DARKNESS QUEEN Ver. Figure Brings the Curves—and Removable Hip Armor

Japanese model kit maker Kotobukiya has announced a new pre-painted figure based on its Frame Arms Girl plastic model kit series. DURGA I DARKNESS QUEEN Ver. is scheduled for release in May 2027.

The figure is based on the “Frame Arms Girl DURGA I DARKNESS QUEEN Ver.” plastic model kit, originally offered exclusively through Amazon Japan in 2021. Illustrated by E-ji Komatsu, the bishoujo-style DURGA I trades the armored-knight look of the original Frame Arms design for her Darkness Queen form, complete with a crown, an extravagant crimson gown, and a massive staff.

DURGA I DARKNESS QUEEN Ver. reimagines that design as a pre-painted figure standing approximately 9.6 inches tall. Partially stripped of her armor, she strikes a provocative, taunting pose. Sculpted to capture E-ji Komatsu’s original artwork, the figure delivers the soft, fleshy contours that the plastic model kit could not fully reproduce, faithfully highlighting every curve of her voluptuous physique. Delicate paintwork adds depth and highlights to her hair while giving the armor across her body a convincing metallic finish. The armor panels on both sides of her hips also feature removable magnetic attachments, allowing collectors to fully reveal the sculpted curves of her thighs and rear.
