BANDAI SPIRITS' Hobby Division has announced a new addition to its versatile 1/144-scale Gunpla "HG (High Grade)" line. Based on "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM ZERO," the upcoming "HG 1/144 Infinite Justice Gundam & Booster Unit (Tentative)" is scheduled for release in February 2027.
The ZGMF-X19A Infinite Justice Gundam was developed by the Clyne Faction using next-generation mobile suit data acquired from ZAFT. Built from the outset for Athrun Zala, the machine incorporates cutting-edge technology and a nuclear-powered Hyper-Deuterion Engine capable of delivering tremendous output. Its armament carries forward the close-combat focus of its predecessor, the Justice Gundam, outfitting the entire mobile suit with beam sabers, beam blades, a beam boomerang, a Beam Carry Shield, and an array of other short- and mid-range weapons. It is also equipped with the new Fatum-01 flight unit. Following the end of the Battle of Messiah and the establishment of the world peace monitoring organization COMPASS, the Infinite Justice was transferred to a temporary COMPASS base for storage as part of the development program for a new mobile suit.
The "HG 1/144 Infinite Justice Gundam & Booster Unit (Tentative)" updates the standard retail kit released in 2020, retaining its sharp proportions and highly articulated joint system while adding newly tooled parts for the Hayato no Tate and a large booster unit. The Hayato no Tate features a new shield system similar to the one carried by the Immortal Justice Gundam, with beam blades deploying from the upper section and both side wings. Meanwhile, the large booster unit can mount to the Gundam's back and, judging by the currently revealed silhouette, appears capable of transforming into an MA mode.
