PLEX has teamed up with sofubi artists for HEROES VINYL ART, its hero-themed Soft Vinyl figure line. The brand's latest "Kamen Rider" release is the Kamen Rider 1 (Original Version) vs. Cobra Man Showdown Set, priced at 19,800 yen and scheduled to ship in April 2027!
Like the previously released Kamen Rider Kuuga and Grongi set, this two-pack captures the spirit of HEROES VINYL ART through an iconic face-off. Kicking off the line's Showa-era showdown series are Kamen Rider 1 in his original suit and the classic monster Cobra Man!
Renowned sofubi artist PicoPico reimagined both characters as approximately 4.7-inch-tall figures, condensing their classic on-screen designs into charming, handcrafted-style chibi proportions. Kamen Rider 1's sharp silhouette and Cobra Man's sinister presence remain instantly recognizable, while the carefully applied paintwork captures each character's distinctive personality. Layered spray-painted colors add a nostalgic vintage finish, making the pair an irresistible centerpiece when displayed together.
