BANDAI SPIRITS has announced the latest release from its hugely popular always-a-winner Ichiban Kuji lottery brand. Based on the theatrical anime "MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM SEED FREEDOM ZERO," "Ichiban Kuji Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM & FREEDOM ZERO" is scheduled to launch in January 2027.
Scheduled to open in Japanese theaters on January 15, 2027, "MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM SEED FREEDOM ZERO" is a prequel to "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM." The film places Shinn Asuka in the lead role and chronicles the Strike Freedom Gundam theft incident that takes place in C.E.74 following the establishment of the global peace-monitoring organization COMPS. After the war, numerous mobile suits that had seen combat were transferred to a temporary COMPS base for storage. That night, however, the Strike Freedom Gundam is stolen by unknown assailants. Determined to prevent the situation from escalating and recover the stolen mobile suit, Shinn once again throws himself into battle.
