Chinese collectible maker CCSTOYS has revealed the second release in its new "FigScript" line of 1/12 scale action figures: Hayato Jin from "Getter Robo Armageddon." The figure is scheduled for release in January 2027.
In the "Getter Robo Armageddon" OVA, Hayato Jin was the first person Dr. Saotome told about Cowen and Stinger’s betrayal and the Invaders’ conspiracy. Hayato later helped Dr. Saotome stage a false defection, a plan that forced him to kill the Invader-possessed scientist and inadvertently left Ryoma Nagare framed for the murder and imprisoned. After the attempt to stop the devastating missile strike failed and Japan was left in ruins, Hayato spent the next 13 years as commander of the battleship Tower, leading an army of Super Robots against Shin Dragon.
"FigScript Hayato Jin" stands approximately 16.8 cm tall and recreates the battle-hardened, scar-covered 41-year-old Hayato seen after the series’ 13-year time skip. The articulated body captures his tall, powerfully built physique while offering a flexible range of motion. His shirt, vest, tie, and other clothing are all made from fabric, delivering a more realistic appearance while minimizing interference with the joints. The black overcoat also features internal posing wires, allowing collectors to create sweeping, action-heavy displays.
The accessory set includes six classic facial expressions, multiple interchangeable hands, a tactical gun sling, a semi-automatic pistol, a revolver, a combat knife, a gunfire effect, a cigarette smoke effect, and an Invader. Together, these parts can recreate Hayato’s hand-to-hand combat scenes, armed attacks, psychic assault by the Invaders, and his most unhinged battle expressions from the OVA.
