Japanese collectibles manufacturer MegaHouse has unveiled the Cyber Formula Collection -Heritage Edition- DX "Future GPX Cyber Formula ASURADA" Zenith Asurada AKF-S0/G Rollout Set. The display model recreates the all-new Asurada from the upcoming anime short in its white shakedown livery. Priced at 16,500 yen including tax, it is scheduled for release in late June 2027.
Designed by Shoji Kawamori for the 35th anniversary of "Future GPX Cyber Formula," the Zenith Asurada AKF-S0/G is an all-new racing machine. When its design was first revealed in April, MegaHouse confirmed plans for both Cyber Formula Collection -Heritage Edition- and Variable Action Hi-SPEC releases. The company later revealed that the Zenith Asurada and Ohtori Ogre AA-1 would appear in the anime short when the official title, "Future GPX Cyber Formula ASURADA," was announced in September.
Rather than the finished racing livery, this C.F.C. release features a white body inspired by the machine's shakedown phase. Fine racing logos and technical markings cover the body, adding plenty of detail to a model measuring approximately 3.1 inches long, 0.8 inches tall, and 2 inches wide. Despite its palm-sized footprint, the model captures the Zenith Asurada's sharp nose, low-slung body, and distinctly next-generation Asurada silhouette.
True to its DX and Rollout Set branding, the package includes much more than the car itself. Collectors also get a dedicated display case, an etched metal nameplate, and a nameplate-style foil sticker. Rounding out the set is an acrylic block featuring Satoshi Shigeta's illustration from the new anime's announcement, plus a set of acrylic stands depicting the driver, series logo, team emblem, and other designs.
The final bonus is a mini booklet featuring official design materials and interviews with the animation production team. Fans will have to wait a little longer to see the Zenith Asurada tear up the track onscreen, but this set offers an early look at the new machine through its white shakedown configuration, production artwork, and commemorative announcement illustration. It is essentially a complete snapshot of the car at the moment of its debut.
