Japanese hobby manufacturer Kotobukiya is bringing back its fan-favorite D-STYLE line with a classic ZOIDS reissue: the D-STYLE IRONKONG [Clear Parts Append] plastic model kit! Priced at 3,740 yen, the kit is scheduled for release in March 2027.
Based on the original D-STYLE kit released in 2013, the returning D-STYLE IRONKONG [Clear Parts Append] has been refreshed with modern production technology. Iron Kong's massive gorilla build is reimagined in super-deformed proportions, giving the Zoid a look that's equal parts fierce and adorable. Along with articulation throughout the body, the missile hatch on the left shoulder opens and closes in keeping with the original design. The head cockpit also opens to reveal a two-seat layout with room for the included unpainted Rosso and Viola figures. Compatibility with Kotobukiya's M.S.G New Flying Base display stand lets collectors recreate an all-out heavy-assault charge or other dynamic combat poses!
