BANDAI's COMPLETE STYLE GIGANTIC line recreates weapons from Japanese tokusatsu series at an imposing scale, complete with extensive light and sound features. Its latest release from "Kamen Rider Kabuto," the CSG Kabuto Kunai Gun, is scheduled for March 2027.
The Kabuto Kunai Gun is the signature weapon of protagonist Souji Tendo/Kamen Rider Kabuto, allowing him to switch between three distinct configurations. In Axe Mode, its blade can be superheated to tear through enemies with devastating slashes. Gun Mode uses a laser targeting system to lock onto enemies before unleashing a rapid barrage of precision energy rounds. Kunai Mode is built for swift consecutive strikes and can generate an energy blade capable of sweeping through multiple enemies at once.
The CSG Kabuto Kunai Gun features completely new tooling and measures an imposing 49.5cm long, making it significantly larger than the original DX toy released in 2006. The grip, blade, muzzle, and other sections are finished in multiple metallic colors to more closely capture the scale and premium appearance of the on-screen prop. The weapon separates into kunai blade, barrel, grip, and axe blade components. Swapping these parts lets collectors recreate Kunai Mode, Gun Mode, and Axe Mode, each offering a different style of role-play action from the series.
The release also packs in an extensive selection of light and sound effects. Pressing the button activates the signature "CLOCK UP" sound used by the Kamen Riders, along with multiple attack effects, Worm explosion sounds, and the "CLOCK OVER" cue that signals the ability's conclusion. Gun Mode adds four LEDs to recreate the weapon's laser-targeting sequence and illuminated muzzle as it prepares to fire, bringing even more on-screen intensity to the role-play experience.
