Chinese toy manufacturer Hiya Toys has opened preorders for the latest addition to its "EXQUISITE BASIC Series": a 4.9-inch, non-scale action figure of MegaMan.EXE from the video game series "Mega Man Battle Network." Priced at $54.99, the figure is scheduled for release in Q4 2027.
"Mega Man Battle Network" is the fourth major series in the Rockman franchise, taking place in an alternate universe where advanced network technology has become part of everyday life. Everyone carries a PET (Personal Terminal), a personal electronic device housing an emotional AI program known as a NetNavi. That progress has also fueled rampant cybercrime, drawing ACDC Town elementary schooler Lan Hikari, his partner MegaMan.EXE, and their friends into a series of incidents orchestrated by the cybercrime organization WWW. Together, they fight to protect both the real world and the network.
The "EXQUISITE BASIC MegaMan.EXE" action figure stands approximately 4.9 inches tall and faithfully captures the character's distinctive, streamlined proportions. His signature blue-and-black color scheme is accented with bright yellow details, while the articulation allows for a wide range of dynamic battle poses. Magnets built into the soles also let the figure attach securely to metal surfaces. Accessories include three interchangeable faces—a side-glancing expression, a shouting face, and the classic masked look—along with three pairs of interchangeable hands. MegaMan.EXE also comes armed with the Sword, Mega Buster, and Cannon, each equipped with a magnetically activated light-up feature. Two attack effect parts complete the package for even more powerful action displays.
