Produced by Japan’s PLEX and released by X-PLUS TOYS, the popular Deforeal sofubi figure line combines realistic sculpting with adorable super-deformed proportions. Its latest release draws inspiration from the kaiju classic "Son of Godzilla": the Deforeal Godzilla (1967) & Minilla Renewal Color Ver. Priced at 16,500 yen, the set is scheduled for release in February 2027!
Standing approximately 5.5 inches tall, the Deforeal Godzilla (1967) & Minilla Renewal Color Ver. packs the intricate details of Showa-era Godzilla into charming 2.5-head-tall proportions. The sculpt faithfully captures his large eyes and dignified expression, while newly applied weathering across the body recreates the dusty, sand-covered appearance seen in the film. Minilla has also been repainted, replacing the previous version’s gray coloring with an earthy reddish-brown tone. Place Minilla on Godzilla’s tail to display him clinging tightly to his dad, recreating the heartwarming sight of the kaiju father and son marching forward together!
