BANDAI SPIRITS’ collector division TAMASHII NATIONS is bringing another "Kamen Rider V3" hero back to its S.H.Figuarts Shinkocchou Seihou action figure line with the newly recolored Riderman Legendary Showa Masked Riders Edition. Priced at 11,000 yen, the figure is scheduled for release in April 2027!
Riderman is the armored alter ego of Joji Yuki, a brilliant former Destron scientist who was framed by the jealous General Yoroi and lost his right arm to sulfuric acid. After surviving the execution attempt, Yuki donned a reinforced suit and became the fourth Kamen Rider, earning a reputation as the masked avenger. Kamen Rider V3 eventually convinced him to abandon his personal vendetta and fight for peace instead.
Standing approximately 5.7 inches tall, the Riderman Legendary Showa Masked Riders Edition appears to build on the figure released in 2023. It retains the Shinkocchou Seihou sculpt, which recreates the character’s screen-accurate proportions by working outward from the skeletal structure. The entire figure has now been reinterpreted with brighter, more vibrant colors inspired by Riderman’s appearance in the original series.
The fabric scarf features an internal wire for creating a variety of windblown poses. Two PVC scarf options are also included, giving collectors more stable alternatives for both flowing and neutral displays. Accessories include five interchangeable hands for each side, along with Riderman’s classic right-arm weapons and attachments, including the Power Arm, Drill Arm, Rope Arm, sickle, and Swing Arm. Newly sculpted left hands also recreate his signature hands-on-hips stance and finger-pointing pose. Pair the figure and its dedicated display stand with last month’s Kamen Rider V3 release to recreate iconic scenes from the show. It can also be displayed with the simultaneously revealed Riderman Machine Legendary Showa Masked Riders Edition for a high-speed riding pose.
