BANDAI SPIRITS’ TAMASHII NATIONS division has unveiled its latest releases from the acclaimed tokusatsu series "Kamen Rider Kuuga". Joining the S.H.Figuarts (Shinkocchou Seihou) line, which sculpts each hero from the skeletal structure outward to deliver screen-accurate proportions and natural articulation, are the new Kamen Rider Kuuga Mighty, Pegasus, Dragon, and Titan Forms Kamen Rider 55th Anniversary Ver. figures. All four are scheduled for release in December 2026.
Kamen Rider Kuuga is an ancient warrior form assumed by Yusuke Godai, a young adventurer who has mastered 2,000 skills. Designated Unidentified Lifeform No. 4 by the police, he fights to protect others from the Grongi, an ancient race that kills humans for sport. Kuuga can change forms to counter different types of enemies: the white Growing Form, red Mighty Form, blue Dragon Form, green Pegasus Form, and purple Titan Form. With the exception of Growing Form, each can evolve into a gold-accented Rising Form, while Kuuga can also access the black-and-gold Amazing Mighty and Ultimate Forms. Interestingly, these more elaborate form names were primarily created outside the show to distinguish the toys. In the series itself, the characters usually refer to them simply by color, such as red or blue.
The new Kamen Rider Kuuga Mighty Form Kamen Rider 55th Anniversary Ver. retains essentially the same sculpt and overall color scheme as the previously released Kamen Rider Kuuga Mighty Form 50th Anniversary Ver. Accessories include four pairs of interchangeable hands and a large commemorative display stand featuring the 55th anniversary logo.
Kamen Rider Kuuga Pegasus Form Kamen Rider 55th Anniversary Ver. uses the same sculpt and construction as the previous release, but features a revised color scheme. The compound eyes, chest armor, right upper arm, left shoulder armor, and belt now use brighter shades that more closely match the suit seen on screen. It also includes four pairs of interchangeable hands and the Pegasus Bowgun.
Kamen Rider Kuuga Dragon Form Kamen Rider 55th Anniversary Ver. reuses the body from the original release, updating the compound eyes, chest armor, and belt with lighter shades of blue. The arm armor now sports a metallic finish. Accessories include four pairs of interchangeable hands and the Dragon Rod.
Rounding out the lineup is Kamen Rider Kuuga Titan Form Kamen Rider 55th Anniversary Ver., which retains the imposing build of the original release while introducing major color revisions. The purple sections throughout the figure now lean toward the redder hues seen in the show, while the metallic armor uses a darker, weightier finish. It comes with five pairs of interchangeable hands, the Titan Sword from the original release, and the Tri-Accelerator formed from a motorcycle handlebar grip. Interchangeable parts also recreate the weapons’ extended and retracted configurations.
