BANDAI SPIRITS’ BANDAI HOBBY division has unveiled the product page and new details for HG 1/144 Bau Bahlam, the latest kit from the upcoming action game "GUNDAM TRAJECTORY OF THE OTHER RAIL." Part of the HG (High Grade) line—home to one of the widest selections of 1/144-scale Gunpla—the kit is scheduled for release in February 2027.
The all-new action game "GUNDAM TRAJECTORY OF THE OTHER RAIL" is part of the next-generation Gundam initiative known as the RG project. Set in the same universe as the upcoming anime "Mobile Suit Gundam RG XARX-ZERO", the game takes place roughly a century later in A.A. 145. Players step into the role of RE-X, pilot of the Gundam Helix, and join forces with his Haro companion Vii to confront the threat of the silicon-based life-forms known as the Apocalypse. A highly flexible customization system lets players swap out weapons, equipment, and color schemes before charging into fast-paced, high-mobility combat.
HG 1/144 Bau Bahlam recreates the Mobile Suit piloted by Big Paul, leader of the Red Grit sand pirates. Its 1/144-scale parts are packed with dense mechanical detailing, while the heavy sand-yellow armor captures the imposing presence of the machine seen in the game. From its mono-eye camera and blade-like antenna to its rounded armor silhouette, the entire design carries a distinctly Zeon-inspired look. Fully articulated joints allow for dynamic action poses, while the arms and lower legs feature the Mobile Suit’s distinctive opening armor gimmicks.
The kit comes armed with an enormous chainsaw that delivers plenty of visual impact. Precision parts reproduce the exposed mechanical structure of the side-mounted engine and the densely packed cutting teeth. When not in use, the weapon can hang from the backpack for storage. An included wire also recreates the pull-cord starting pose used to fire up the chainsaw. Components and weapons are compatible with other HG Gunpla kits from "GUNDAM TRAJECTORY OF THE OTHER RAIL," bringing the game’s freeform customization system to your model kit collection.
