Hot Toys has unveiled its latest release from "Avengers: Doomsday"—a Beast 1/6 scale collectible action figure. The figure will be available in standard and Deluxe versions, and this time we’re taking a closer look at the Deluxe Version. Priced at $390, the figure is scheduled to ship in March 2028.
Beast, whose full name is Henry Philip "Hank" McCoy, made his first appearance in 1963’s "Uncanny X-Men" #1. Born with extraordinary physical traits after his father was exposed to radiation while working at a nuclear power plant, Hank later transformed into the blue-furred Beast after accidentally drinking an unfinished serum he had developed. He subsequently joined the X-Men at the invitation of Professor X.
Along with the flocked, mixed-media Beast figure included with the standard release, the Deluxe Version comes with a dramatic diorama display base featuring a battle-damaged Sentinel. The intricately sculpted base recreates the Sentinel head seen under Doctor Doom’s command in the trailer, complete with torn metal edges, dented surfaces, exposed wiring, scorched armor, and translucent green flame effects. Its eyes also feature USB-powered LED lighting, giving the entire display even more visual impact.
