BANDAI's Gashapon brand has announced two new releases based on Toei's "Kamen Rider" tokusatsu franchise: "POWER KNUCKLE byTOUMA × KAMEN RIDER Kamen Rider 1 200%" and "POWER KNUCKLE byTOUMA × KAMEN RIDER Kamen Rider Kuuga 200%." Both figures are scheduled for release in January 2027.
Created by internationally renowned Japanese toy artist TOUMA, the "POWER KNUCKLE" brand brings his signature POP & COOL aesthetic to life through massive, powerful hands that look carved from solid rock. The POWER KNUCKLE byTOUMA × KAMEN RIDER collaboration combines that distinctive style with heroes from the Kamen Rider franchise, transforming them into approximately 4.3-inch-tall Capsule Toys with impressive sculpting and paintwork.
Following the previously released first wave and second wave, Gashapon is expanding the collection with a new 200% size series. The first two releases are Kamen Rider 1 and Kamen Rider Kuuga, the heroes who launched the Showa and Heisei eras, respectively. Each figure stands approximately 8.7 inches tall—twice the height of the original versions.
The larger format makes TOUMA's signature design work even more striking while retaining the line's rich, premium paint applications and forward-and-back shoulder articulation. The transformation belts also receive considerably more color separation and painted detail, bringing out the intricate designs of Kuuga's Arcle and Kamen Rider 1's Typhoon. Both figures come in custom boxes featuring original artwork by TOUMA and include an exclusive POWER KNUCKLE byTOUMA × KAMEN RIDER logo sticker.
