Premium Collectibles Studio (PCS) has unveiled its latest Star Wars release: a Princess Leia 1/3 scale collectible statue. Priced at $1,755, the statue is expected to ship in the fourth quarter of 2027.

In the opening of 1977’s "Star Wars," Princess Leia’s Rebel Alliance blockade runner, the Tantive IV, is relentlessly pursued by the Devastator, an Imperial I-class Star Destroyer commanded by Darth Vader. Before Imperial stormtroopers seize the ship, Leia urgently transfers the complete Death Star plans and a holographic distress message into R2-D2’s memory, then sends him and C-3PO to Tatooine to seek help from Obi-Wan Kenobi.

This Princess Leia 1/3 scale statue brings that legendary opening sequence into three dimensions, capturing the moment Leia entrusts the data to R2-D2. Measuring approximately 48.2 cm tall, 45.7 cm wide, and 53.3 cm deep, the statue features a finely sculpted portrait of actress Carrie Fisher. Every detail has been carefully recreated, from the folds of Leia’s white gown to her signature double-bun hairstyle.

R2-D2 receives the same meticulous treatment, complete with screen-accurate details, realistic weathering, a convincing metallic finish across the dome, and battle-worn scratches covering the body. Sculpted reliefs along all four sides of the base depict four classic scenes: Leia loading the files into R2-D2, Leia surrounded by stormtroopers and Darth Vader aboard the ship, Luke Skywalker’s first encounter with R2-D2 and C-3PO, and the medal ceremony at the end of the film. Each side also features LED lighting, delivering a premium display that captures the sense of wonder that first made generations of fans fall in love with Star Wars.
