Danish brickmaker LEGO is expanding the 11388 Venetian Neighbourhood with the 40898 Venetian Water Taxi. The 322-piece set builds a classic Venetian water taxi and dock, complete with captain and tourist Minifigures, luggage, and two pigeons. Available as a gift with purchase, the set will be offered with purchases of the 11388 Venetian Neighbourhood from November 1 through November 8, 2026, while supplies last.
While the 11388 Venetian Neighbourhood already includes a gondola, set 40898 puts the spotlight on one of the city’s familiar water taxis. Along with the boat, the build includes a separate dock, a captain, a luggage-toting tourist ready to board, and two pigeons. The rear of the boat also opens to store the passenger’s luggage. Displayed alongside the Venetian Neighbourhood, it brings a more everyday form of water transportation to a canal scene otherwise dominated by its gondola, arched bridge, and historic architecture.
