BANDAI SPIRITS’ BANDAI HOBBY division has unveiled the latest addition to its expansive 1/144-scale High Grade (HG) Gunpla lineup. Based on the official side story "Advance of Zeta Re-Boot: Gundam Inle - Black Rabbit Had a Dream," the new Reben Wolf (Space Wolf Team Spec.) (A.O.Z RE-BOOT Ver.) is scheduled for release in January 2027. The kit will be sold exclusively through Bandai’s official Premium Bandai online store.
The AMX-014R Reben Wolf is a mass-production mobile suit developed by the Mars Zeon Independence Army from the AMX-014 Döven Wolf to support its Neo Zeon allies, formerly based at Axis. To reduce construction costs and streamline production, the machine shares several components with the Zaku III-R Type, Mars Zeon’s primary mobile suit at the time. It also incorporates new mechanisms developed at Axis that would later influence the Doga series. The design pares back the Döven Wolf’s excessive built-in firepower, turning weapons such as its wired cannons, chest-mounted mega particle cannons, and anti-ship missiles into modular equipment. This loadout system allows each unit to be configured with the weapons best suited to its mission.
The HG 1/144 Reben Wolf (Space Wolf Team Spec.) (A.O.Z RE-BOOT Ver.) builds on the standard version released in 2025. Its parts have been recast in the distinctive colors of the Space Wolf Team, which fought during the First Neo Zeon War, recreating the unit’s eye-catching aqua-green armor. Extensive color separation brings mechanical designer Kenki Fujioka’s intricate design to life, including the yellow power cables, red muzzles of the chest-mounted mega particle cannons, and fully detailed armor interiors. A comprehensive sheet of marking decals is also included, making this an impressively loaded release.
Articulation features include a multi-axis neck joint, an adjustable mono-eye camera, forward-sliding chest armor on both sides, rotating hip joints, an extending waist joint, an articulated backpack mount, and linked knee and ankle mechanisms. Together, these features let the Reben Wolf pull off a wide range of dynamic poses.
Along with the standard version’s interchangeable general-use and commander head parts, beam machine gun, and beam sword-axe with extendable sword and axe configurations, this release adds an extensive selection of newly molded equipment. The new parts include a Döven Wolf head, anti-ship rifle, beam launcher, propellant tanks, arm-mounted missile launchers, and a main booster binder. These options allow builders to recreate multiple configurations fielded by the Space Wolf Team.
