Japanese toymaker TAKARA TOMY has unveiled the BEYBLADE X "CX-20 Customize Set C", packing four Blades, three Ratchets, and six Bits for a total of 72 possible combinations. The centerpiece, Phoenix Force WHM-65MT, features metal components in all three major sections—from the Blade and Ratchet to the Bit. Designed as a heavyweight Balance Type capable of both powerful attacks and solid defense, the set is priced at ¥6,600 including tax and is scheduled for release on November 21, 2026.
The set expands on BEYBLADE X's core customization system, which lets players tune battle performance by swapping parts. While the previously released "UX-21 HellsNether Deck Set" focused on building a lineup of different Beyblades, CX-20 delivers a sizable parts selection for experimenting with attack, defense, and stamina-focused Blade, Ratchet, and Bit combinations.
The star of the set, Phoenix Force WHM-65MT, uses a CX Expand Blade design. Its three main sections—the Blade, Ratchet, and Bit—all feature metal components, adding substantial weight to boost both impact power and defensive stability. Unlike Beyblades built around a single specialized attribute, this Balance Type puts its extra mass to work on both offense and defense. With metal packed into every major section, collectors will definitely want to see how hard Phoenix Force hits in an actual battle.
Beyond Phoenix Force, the set also includes the Shark Scale, Wizard Rod, and Hells Scythe Blades. With four Blades, three Ratchets, and six Bits in total, players can create 72 different combinations. You can start with the suggested setups, then swap parts to compare spin performance and collision behavior—testing whether raw weight wins out or whether a different Ratchet and Bit better suit your battle style. A launcher and stadium are not included, so BEYBLADE X-compatible equipment must be purchased separately.
