Hollywood delivered a double dose of horror game adaptation news this weekend. One of the projects is a live-action feature based on "Mouthwashing," developed by Swedish studio Wrong Organ. Industry insider Daniel Richtman recently reported exclusively on his Patreon page that Sony Pictures label Screen Gems is developing the movie, though no writer, director or cast members have been announced.

The other project centers on "Fears to Fathom," another psychological horror game. SRYN Productions has secured the adaptation rights. The company was founded by 24-year-old Scarlet Stallone, the youngest daughter of action icon Sylvester Stallone, pictured above at right.
Scarlet Stallone is also an actor, having shared several scenes with her father on "Tulsa King," as pictured above. For now, she is only confirmed to produce the "Fears to Fathom" adaptation, with no indication that she plans to appear onscreen.
