Hobby Sakura SHOJO-HATSUDOKI OV-R200 “Warped circle” 1/4 Scale Statue Painted Prototype Revealed

Chinese collectible figure maker Hobby Sakura has teamed up with Skin Studio to produce the SHOJO-HATSUDOKI OV-R200 “Warped circle” 1/4 scale premium Statue, based on an original design by Japanese illustrator AF_KURO. Following its appearance at Wonder Festival Shanghai, new photos of the painted prototype have been released, offering a closer look at its deep crimson mechanical armor, densely layered machinery, and speed-charged pose. Sculpted by LESLyzerosix, the Statue stands approximately 36 centimeters tall. Pricing and release details have yet to be announced.

AF_KURO's original SHOJO-HATSUDOKI series fuses the female form with motorcycle engineering to create striking humanoid racing machines. The OV-R200 “Warped circle” reimagines that concept as a large-scale Statue, covering the character in dark crimson armor and intricately sculpted mechanical components. From the elaborate structures extending from her limbs to the dynamic pose that captures her at full speed, every angle invites a closer examination of how this mechanical body is put together.

The 1/4 scale painted prototype of the OV-R200 is currently on display at AmiAmi's Akihabara Radio Kaikan Store in Japan, giving collectors a chance to see the sculpt up close. Preorders may still be some time away, but fans of AF_KURO's mechanical girl designs can already get a strong sense of how the finished Statue will look.
