Bandai’s BANDAI CANDY division has announced the 31st wave of its Mobile Suit Gundam candy toy series, FW GUNDAM CONVERGE. The new FW GUNDAM CONVERGE #31 lineup is scheduled for release in April 2027.
FW GUNDAM CONVERGE # transforms mobile suits from across the Mobile Suit Gundam franchise into SD-proportioned candy toy figures. Despite standing only about 55mm tall, each release packs sharp sculpting and an impressive density of mechanical detail into its compact frame. Select colors and unit markings are also faithfully reproduced, highlighting the distinctive design of every mobile suit.
Wave 31 introduces Gundam ZERO and Gundam ZERO (Beam Saber Equipment), two versions of the lead mobile suit from the latest anime, Mobile Suit Gundam RG XARX-ZERO. The lineup also includes Gundam Kimaris Vidar from Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans, Messer Type-F01 and Messer Type-F02 from Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway, plus two fan favorites selected through the brand’s 15th-anniversary reissue polls: Hyaku-Shiki and Wing Gundam Zero EW.
No.328 Gundam ZERO
Eiichi Shimizu’s lead mobile suit design from Mobile Suit Gundam RG XARX-ZERO has been recreated with SD proportions. The figure captures the segmented armor construction and the small shields mounted on both forearms, and comes armed with a beam rifle designed to be held in a reverse grip.
No.329 Gundam ZERO (Beam Saber Equipment)
This version features newly configured forearms holding beam sabers. Aside from its weapons, the sculpt is identical to No.328, and the accessories can be swapped between the two figures.
No.330 Gundam Kimaris Vidar
Making its FW GUNDAM CONVERGE debut, Gundam Kimaris Vidar condenses the intricate detailing of its full-body armor and massive Drill Lance into the line’s compact SD format. Its vivid blue, purple, gray, yellow, and black color scheme is also faithfully reproduced.
No.331 Messer Type-F01
Based on the Type-F02 released in Wave #29, this version adds newly sculpted parts to recreate the Type-F01’s distinct leg design.
No.320 Messer Type-F02
The Type-F02 from Wave #29 also returns, complete with the mobile suit’s signature heavy armor and bulky silhouette.
No.332 Hyaku-Shiki (15th Revive Ver.)
Hyaku-Shiki placed second in the Japanese reissue poll. A premium gold-painted finish recreates the mobile suit’s signature anti-beam coating, while its weapons include a Beam Rifle and Clay Bazooka. The distinctive “百” markings are printed on both shoulders.
No.333 Wing Gundam Zero EW (15th Revive Ver.)
Wing Gundam Zero EW took first place in the overseas reissue poll. The figure features finely sculpted armor, dynamically posed wings, and its iconic high-powered Twin Buster Rifle.
