Japanese collectibles makers STUDIO24 and CCP have teamed up for the Kinnikuman Kinniku Buster (Original Artwork-Inspired Color) figure. Based on Kinnikuman’s signature finishing move from the Chojin Olympics Arc, the statue captures the split second before impact as a dramatic three-dimensional display. A specialized monochrome paint application recreates the look and atmosphere of the original manga artwork. Priced at 39,820 yen including tax, the figure is scheduled for release in April 2027.
The Kinniku Buster is the signature finishing move of Kinnikuman’s title hero. Kinnikuman suspends his opponent upside down across his shoulders, locking the legs and pinning the arms before driving both wrestlers toward the ground. This statue recreates the iconic moment from the Chojin Olympics Arc, going beyond simply posing two characters together to evoke the same impact fans felt when they first saw the move unleashed on the manga page.
The figure’s defining feature is its “Original Artwork-Inspired Color” treatment. Rather than simply painting the characters black and white, the finish uses carefully placed shadows and sharp tonal contrast to bring Yudetamago’s distinctive manga artwork into the real world. The result transforms a move once confined to the printed page into a fully sculpted scene that can be appreciated from every angle.
The release also commemorates the second anniversary of the Kinnikuman Museum in Numazu, Japan. Customers who pay in advance through the official store will receive a complimentary acrylic stand originally valued at approximately 3,300 yen. For longtime fans of the original Kinnikuman manga, this is more than a collectible based on a famous finishing move—it is a memorable manga panel brought directly into the display case.
