Japanese statue maker Prime 1 Studio has unveiled its NINJA GAIDEN 4 Ryu Hayabusa 1/4 Scale Statue DX Bonus Version, capturing the legendary Master Ninja charging forward and cutting down an enemy with the Dragon Sword. The massive statue faithfully recreates his jet-black ninja garb, metallic armor, and deadly stare, while the base features a freshly slain enemy and splashes of blood. The DX edition also includes interchangeable Jakotsumon weapon parts. Limited to 500 pieces worldwide, the statue is priced at $1,799 and is expected to ship between March and June 2028.
Co-developed by Team NINJA and PlatinumGames, NINJA GAIDEN 4 carries the franchise’s signature high-speed, hard-hitting ninja combat into a new era. Ryu Hayabusa is the legendary Master Ninja who inherited the techniques of the Hayabusa Clan and the blood of the Dragon Lineage. Following the previously released “AMAZING YAMAGUCHI Ryu Hayabusa” action figure, this statue depicts him surging forward just before unleashing a lethal slash. From the tension running through his body and his wind-swept clothing to the intricate engravings on the Dragon Sword’s guard, every detail evokes his merciless fighting style from the game.
Ryu Hayabusa’s signature green eyes feature intricate iris detailing, while contrasting surface treatments distinguish the metal armor from the fabric of his outfit. The base recreates the cold, futuristic architecture of NINJA GAIDEN 4’s Sky City Tokyo, complete with a dismembered Flare Shadow and sprays of blood. It looks as though the creature has only just taken a fatal strike from Ryu, bringing the brutal aftermath of battle straight to the display shelf.
The DX edition also includes the serpent-shaped gauntlets known as Jakotsumon, which Ryu wields in the NINJA GAIDEN 4 DLC “The Two Masters.” Swappable left and right hand parts let collectors change him from a Dragon Sword slashing pose to a close-quarters combat stance equipped with Jakotsumon. The set also comes with an alternate forward-facing portrait and a dedicated head stand. It can eventually be paired with the upcoming Yakumo statue to stage a dramatic face-off between the two Master Ninjas.
