Kotobukiya's popular "Megami Device" plastic model line, which combines highly articulated Bishoujo-style bodies with colorful mechanical equipment, is expanding with the new "PUNI☆MOFU RACING XIAO with Honda Z50J Gorilla" kit, scheduled for release in May 2027.
This release brings together Kotobukiya's Megami Device kit "PUNI☆MOFU XIAO" and AOSHIMA's "1/12 Honda Z50J Gorilla '78." Designed by Japanese illustrator BLADE, PUNI☆MOFU XIAO uses the standard-proportioned Machineca Block2-M body. Compared to the purely adorable MAO and TU, XIAO mixes cuteness with mature, motherly big-sister appeal and comes equipped with owl-inspired aerial combat gear. For this edition, her molded colors have been completely refreshed with blue-green hair and a wine-red-and-dark-gray body resembling a racing suit.
In Unarmed Mode, PUNI☆MOFU RACING XIAO's racing suit-inspired color scheme puts even more emphasis on her sexy, full-figured proportions. The two included pre-painted face parts—the smiling expression and motherly expression—have also been updated with aqua-blue eyes to complement her new hair color. Accessories include a helmet and three pairs of interchangeable plastic hands. Combined with the flexible articulation of the Machineca Block2-M body, the kit can pull off plenty of cute motorcycle-riding poses.
AOSHIMA's "1/12 Honda Z50J Gorilla '78" kit also receives an original wine-red-and-dark-gray color scheme. Measuring approximately 11.5 cm long, the model recreates the 1978 sibling bike to the Honda Monkey, complete with finely detailed first-generation engine, suspension, lights, and other components. Plastic tubing and soft rubber parts reproduce the various cables and tires, though model kit adhesive—sold separately—is required for assembly.
