Chinese model-kit brand Motor Nuclear is expanding its "Legend of Star General" lineup with the Dihuixing: Hanlongzi Ao Bing Majestic Color Ver. model kit. The Third Prince of the Dragon King from Chinese mythology returns as a heavily armored mechanical warrior, now sporting a new white-and-gray color scheme with metallic accents and clear parts. Priced at 11,000 yen including tax, the kit is scheduled for release in December 2026. A matching Majestic Color version of Nezha is also on the way.
Motor Nuclear's "Legend of Star General" series reimagines figures from Chinese mythology and history as elaborate mecha warriors. Following the previously revealed "Tianxiong Star: Brocade-Helmed Tiger General Ma Chao" model kit, Ao Bing enters the lineup as "Dihuixing: Hanlongzi." Dragon-inspired details run throughout the head, shoulder armor, and body, while the white-and-gray finish, metallic accents, and clear components give the already razor-sharp design an even colder, more lethal presence.
Standing approximately 9 inches tall, the model is made from ABS, PVC, POM, and alloy components. Articulated joints throughout the body support a wide range of weapon-ready stances and charging battle poses. Ao Bing's signature Hansha Dragon weapon features a modular design, allowing builders to rearrange its segmented body, head, and connector pieces into different configurations. It can also be mounted on the model's back, making the towering warrior look as though he is charging into battle with a massive mechanical dragon in tow.
Along with the Hansha Dragon, the kit includes a Dragon Fang Long Blade, Dragon Fang Fork, and six pairs of interchangeable hands, plus a dedicated display stand. Collectors can switch between close-quarters poses with the long blade and heavily armed configurations with the mechanical dragon mounted on Ao Bing's back. Water-slide decals and multiple stand components provide even more display options, whether you want to pose him as an imposing dragon warrior or capture him in the middle of a full-force assault.
