Chinese model-kit maker Motor Nuclear is expanding its "Legend of Star General" lineup with the Tianying Star: Santan Haihui Nezha Majestic Color Version model kit. Inspired by the Third Prince Nezha of Chinese mythology, the design combines his iconic three-headed, six-armed form with heavily layered mechanical armor. The kit can switch between a standard two-arm configuration and a fully armed six-arm battle mode, complete with the Fire-Tipped Spear, Universe Ring, Wind Fire Wheels, and other legendary weapons. Priced at 11,000 yen including tax, it is scheduled for release in December 2026 alongside the Majestic Color Version of "Ao Bing."
Motor Nuclear's "Legend of Star General" series reimagines figures from Chinese mythology and history as armored mecha warriors. Previous releases include "Tianxiong Star: Brocade-Helmed Tiger General Ma Chao." Nezha joins the line under the title "Tianying Star: Santan Haihui," retaining the mythological hero's signature arsenal while adding a mechanical inner frame and layer upon layer of armor. Once all six arms are deployed, each hand can wield a different weapon, concentrating the firepower of an entire army into a single unit.
The completed model stands approximately 22 centimeters tall and is made from ABS, POM, and alloy components. An alloy inner frame and articulated joints allow builders to switch freely between two-arm and six-arm configurations. Six pairs of sculpted hands let Nezha wield multiple divine weapons at once. Along with his signature Fire-Tipped Spear, the set includes the Universe Ring, Wind Fire Wheels, Red Armillary Sash, and Yin-Yang Twin Swords. With the interchangeable accessories, collectors can recreate everything from Nezha riding his flaming wheels to charging into battle with his spear drawn.
The Universe Ring can also unfold into three separate blades and works with six dedicated effect parts to create a variety of attacks. The kit additionally includes 12 flame effect parts and three lotus display bases, along with the Red Armillary Sash and other accessories. Display Nezha standing atop the lotuses, surrounded by roaring flames with all six arms deployed and every divine weapon at the ready—it looks like the legendary Third Prince who conquered the seas has stepped straight into a suit of mechanical armor.
