Mobile Suit Gundam 00V MG 1/100 Superbia GN-X Revealed With New Parts and Ninja-Style Poses

BANDAI SPIRITS’ BANDAI HOBBY division has officially revealed the latest addition to its 1/100-scale MG (Master Grade) Gunpla line, known for its detailed parts separation, fully realized inner frames, and extensive articulation. Hailing from the official side story "Mobile Suit Gundam 00V," the new Superbia GN-X is scheduled for release in March 2027 as a Premium Bandai exclusive.

The GNX-612T/AA Superbia GN-X is a specialized amphibious assault variant developed from the GN-XIII and primarily deployed by the A-Laws autonomous peacekeeping force on special operations. Incorporating new technology used by the Innovades, its performance approaches that of the next-generation GN-XIV developed during the same period. Its arsenal includes large-caliber waist-mounted GN Vulcans, GN Claws, and GN Kunai inspired by Gundam Exia’s equipment. Each GN Kunai combines three functions: a GN Sword, GN Beam Needle, and GN Vulcan. For amphibious missions, the mobile suit can navigate underwater using the external Amphibious Assault Unit.

The MG 1/100 Superbia GN-X builds on the previously released GN-XIII kit, adding numerous newly molded parts to recreate the distinctive head, waist, legs, armor, weapons, and GN Kunai. Multiple colors of plastic, including indigo, dark brown, and gray, reproduce the mobile suit’s signature color scheme straight out of the box. Inside, the kit retains the GN-X inner frame first introduced in 2010, delivering excellent stability and a wide range of articulation. The feet now feature additional articulation points and deployable claw mechanisms, allowing the Superbia GN-X to tear into enemy mobile suits with vicious two-legged kicking attacks.

The pair of newly molded GN Kunai mounted on the forearms can transform between all three of their weapon modes. The GN Sword blades swing forward for close combat, while their retracted configuration functions as the GN Vulcan firing mode. Attaching the included beam effects converts them into GN Beam Needles. The kit also comes with a clear display stand and crossbar parts. Combined with the claws on the Superbia GN-X’s feet, these accessories let builders display the mobile suit hanging upside down in a ninja-like pose!
