Good Smile Company has revealed the latest release in its popular chibi articulated figure line, the Nendoroid Doll series: Star Rail’s Nendoroid Doll Firefly: Spring Missive Ver. Priced at 9,400 yen including tax, the figure is scheduled for release in October 2027.
Firefly made her debut on Penacony, the Planet of Festivities, the second world visited by the protagonist, the Trailblazer. Posing as an aspiring performer, she approached the Trailblazer and joined them on a brief adventure. Her true identity was later revealed: She is one of Glamoth’s Iron Cavalry, genetically engineered human weapons created to combat the forces of the Propagation. Following the fall of Glamoth, she was taken in by the Stellaron Hunters and became known as Molten Knight SAM, using a transformation device to switch into her armored combat form. Firefly suffers from Entropy Loss Syndrome, a condition caused by genetic modification, and therefore spends much of her time inside a cryosleep pod or her armor. Her story explores the struggle against death and the meaning of new life, while her sweet, almost girlfriend-like introduction and unwavering inner strength have made her a major fan favorite.
Nendoroid Doll Firefly: Spring Missive Ver. recreates the character’s outfit of the same name from the game, bringing her dream schoolgirl look into figure form. The hair color has been adjusted from the standard Nendoroid release, while the head features a newly sculpted front hairband and revised colors for the ornament on the side. The figure uses the series’ familiar highly articulated Nendoroid Doll body, paired with a cloth school uniform that allows for a wide range of poses. The pin on her chest is made from metal, while magnets in the soles of her shoes secure the figure to the metal base. In addition to the fabric outfit, accessories include a shoulder bag, four pairs of interchangeable hands and a dedicated display stand. The clothing will also be available separately as the Nendoroid Doll Outfit Set: Firefly Spring Missive Ver.
