Japanese statue maker Prime 1 Studio has unveiled the Berserk Guts 1/4 Scale Bonus Version statue. Based on the variant cover Kentarou Miura illustrated for Volume 34, this massive piece depicts Guts clad in the Berserker Armor and wielding the Dragon Slayer. Intricate sculpting captures the black armor, battle damage across the enormous sword, and his cape whipping through the air. Limited to 500 pieces worldwide, the statue is priced at $1,199 and is expected to ship between February and May 2028. Prime 1 Studio is also releasing a matching “Griffith” 1/4 scale statue, allowing collectors to recreate the original cover composition with the two rivals displayed together.
Berserk protagonist Guts was once a key member of the Band of the Hawk, but after surviving the horrors of the Eclipse, he embarked on a path of vengeance and began hunting Apostles. Carrying the massive Dragon Slayer and wearing the Berserker Armor, which pushes his body far beyond its natural limits, Guts cuts an imposing figure. Prime 1 Studio previously released a “Guts 1/6 Scale Statue” based on the same illustration. This new 1/4 scale edition enlarges the design while refining the armor’s sculpt and paintwork, giving the Black Swordsman an even more commanding presence.
The statue portrays Guts crouched low like a beast ready to strike. Interlocking curves and fine etched details cover the Berserker Armor, while the colossal Dragon Slayer features a pale blue metallic finish and scars left by years of brutal combat. Another standout element is the black cape billowing behind him. Guts’ face emerges from the fabric through relief-like sculpting, preserving one of the original manga illustration’s most distinctive visual effects in three-dimensional form.
The base piles together countless swords and skulls to create a grim battlefield scene that reflects the relentless battles Guts has endured. The Bonus Version also includes an alternate unhelmeted head sculpt, giving collectors another display option. Pairing the statue with the concurrently released Griffith piece creates a striking black-and-white composition, with the former comrades standing back-to-back as their bond during the Band of the Hawk era and the bitter conflict that followed converge in a single display.
