TAKARA TOMY’s premium T-SPARK hobby brand has teased the latest addition to its robot-themed, fully assembled "TOYRISE" toy line. The mysterious "Lion-Type Mecha (Tentative Name)" from the original mecha anime "Beast King Warlord Dandivine" will be available for preorder soon.

"Beast King Warlord Dandivine" is the first entry in The God of Combined Series, a new project celebrating model and figure manufacturer Good Smile Company’s 25th anniversary. The production brings together several major industry players, including Aniplex, TAKARA TOMY, and Toei. The story takes place 20 years after the combining robot Dandivine defeated the mysterious Aposdoll and brought peace to humanity. Casga, the toy manufacturer that once became a sensation with its Dandivine merchandise, has since fallen on hard times. Desperate to revive Dandivine at any cost, the company president gets his wish when the Aposdoll suddenly return. High school student Gekiha Shijima becomes Dandivine’s new pilot, setting the stage for an all-new battle.
The newly revealed Lion-Type Mecha (Tentative Name) made its mysterious debut in this week’s third episode. Just as Dandivine found itself in serious trouble against the Aposdoll, the lion machine crashed the battle, transformed into robot mode, and defeated the enemy with a single blow. No additional details about the toy have been announced, but it will presumably recreate the mecha’s signature transformation. There is even reason to hope it can combine with Dandivine to form the kind of classic powered-up mode every combining robot anime needs.
