Japanese high-end statue maker Prime 1 Studio has officially unveiled the latest release in its Life Scale Masterline series: a 1:1 scale statue of Marin Kitagawa from the hit anime "My Dress-Up Darling." Priced at a staggering $7,999, the life-size collectible is expected to ship between March and June 2028.

"My Dress-Up Darling" began as a manga by Shinichi Fukuda in Young Gangan in 2018 before receiving a TV anime adaptation from CloverWorks in 2022. The story follows Wakana Gojo, an aspiring Hina doll craftsman inspired by his grandfather, whose life changes when his cosplay-loving classmate Marin Kitagawa asks him to create her costumes.

Standing 164 centimeters tall to match Marin's official height, this 1:1 scale statue faithfully recreates her shapely figure, fair complexion, and long, slender legs. The color palette draws directly from the anime, complete with her signature blonde-to-pink hair gradient. Her bold earrings, bracelets, and other accessories have all been meticulously reproduced, while her fingernails feature finely painted tips accented with glitter.

Marin's school blouse, necktie, and skirt are cut and sewn from real fabric, with the production team repeatedly refining the fit to capture her effortlessly relaxed style. Remove the uniform to reveal her iconic black bikini with yellow flowers, recreating her measurement scene from Episode 2. The statue also includes two interchangeable arm options—an outstretched arm and a photo-ready hand gesture—giving collectors multiple display poses. The incredible detailing and true life-size presence make this a genuine dream piece, but that eye-watering price will put even the most devoted Marin fans to the test.
