LEGO has officially announced a collaboration with French electronic music duo Daft Punk, confirming that the fan-designed LEGO Ideas "Daft Punk Concert" build will become an official set. Inspired by the pyramid stage from the duo's "Alive 2007" tour, the model recreates the unforgettable fusion of dazzling lights, electronic music, and iconic robot imagery. LEGO also released a new collaboration short featuring Daft Punk as minifigures wearing their signature helmets. While pricing and an official release date have yet to be announced, the two sides have already teased more collaborative projects for 2027.

Daft Punk, consisting of Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo, made their robot helmets one of the most recognizable images in electronic music culture. The newly approved set was originally designed by fan Patrick Harboun and his son. The father-and-son team entered LEGO's music-themed design competition in 2020 and won the grand prize before later submitting the build to the LEGO Ideas platform. After earning more than 10,000 supporters and passing LEGO's official review, their unforgettable pyramid stage is finally headed for the LEGO lineup.

The original "Daft Punk Concert" submission centers on the pyramid stage from the "Alive 2007" tour, using transparent bricks and lighting elements to capture the concert's spectacular visuals. Inside the pyramid is a motorized rotating structure, giving the build more functionality than a conventional static display model. Minifigures of both members, complete with gold and silver robot helmets, stand atop the stage just as they did while performing during the landmark tour. The fan design uses approximately 2,000 pieces, although LEGO's design team may revise the model before the final retail version arrives.

To kick off the collaboration, LEGO and Daft Punk also debuted a new promotional short featuring the robots as minifigures. The pair follows a glowing red brick through a futuristic environment as musical elements from "Voyager" and "Human After All" play in the background, setting the stage for the newly announced partnership. Beyond the confirmed concert set, LEGO has teased additional content and events to come. The final piece count, included accessories, price, and release date remain under wraps.
