Did you find Nintendo's previous ">"Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit" too large for your living space? Then you need to check this out! Japanese toy brand Kyosho has launched a new series of mini remote-controlled toys themed after "Mario Kart," dubbed the "Mini Mario Kart R/C Collection" (ミニ マリオカート R/C コレクション), featuring five distinct designs!
Kyosho's "Mini Mario Kart R/C Collection" boasts a compact size as its main selling point. The kart racers, featuring Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, Toad, and Yoshi, are scaled down to approximately 7 cm in length. Both the car and controller can be perfectly stored as a single unit. The remote control is powered by 2 AAA batteries, while the car itself houses a 35 mAh lithium battery, conveniently rechargeable via the included USB cable and any standard charger.
For those who prefer a larger RC car experience, Kyosho also offers the "Mario Kart R/C BIG!". This model is also remote-controlled, measuring approximately 34.5 cm long, and features shock-absorbing soft rubber tires and a shock-resistant body. The Mario figure in the driver's seat sways left and right with the remote control's input, and the controller even includes familiar in-game sound effects. Like its smaller counterparts, the car is powered by a lithium battery and can be charged via an included USB cable, reaching a top speed of 20 km/h.
While these two RC racing toys don't connect to a Switch console for big-screen play like the "Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit," they deliver just as much pure remote-controlled racing fun. We highly recommend them to all "Mario Kart" fans.
