Following the highly anticipated EVA Unit-01, BANDAI SPIRITS Collectors Division TAMASHII NATIONS has finally announced the release of the second entry in its "Rebuild of Evangelion" lineup for the DYNACTION series: "EVANGELION Unit-02," slated for November 2021. This line is renowned for its massive scale and exceptional articulation.
The "DYNACTION EVANGELION Unit-02" boasts an impressive 40cm (approximately 15.75 inches) in height, capturing the powerful presence of the iconic mecha. Its design meticulously renders the elegant curves of its armor, while the distinctive four eyes on its head are crafted with clear parts. The figure features a complete paint application and tampo-printed body markings, ensuring intricate detail. Constructed with a composite of die-cast metal and POM for its joints, Unit-02 achieves both a substantial, weighty feel and an extensive range of articulation. However, deploying the shoulder-mounted Progressive Knife still requires swapping out parts to achieve its extended state.
For weaponry, the figure comes packed with a 75cm (approximately 29.5 inches) Umbilical Cable, two Long-Range Rifles, two Unit-02 specific Progressive Knives, a dedicated display stand, and five pairs of interchangeable hands. These accessories, combined with the figure's highly flexible articulation, allow collectors to recreate a wide array of dynamic and intense battle scenes from the series!
