Good Smile Company has announced the latest addition to their popular Nendoroid series: Potato from the hit stop-motion felt animation, "PUI PUI Molcar"! Pre-orders for this adorable figure are set to open on July 16.
The incredibly charming and therapeutic Molcars are a species that evolved from guinea pigs, establishing a bond with human civilization since ancient times. In modern society, they've become indispensable companions, assisting humans with transportation. Each Molcar boasts a unique personality, and Potato is known for his laid-back demeanor and unwavering sense of justice. He's always ready to bravely step up and help anyone or any vehicle in need.
The "Nendoroid Potato" meticulously captures the proportions of the original felt puppet. To perfectly replicate the Molcar's signature cuteness, its body features electrostatic flocking, giving it a wonderfully fluffy texture. All four wheels and both side mirrors are articulated. Potato comes packed with his favorite snack, a carrot, along with three interchangeable face plates: a standard expression, a surprised face, and a crying face.
By removing the back part, Potato transforms into a somewhat quirky convertible, revealing an open driver's seat! This allows other Nendoroid characters to hop in, opening up a world of fun and heartwarming display possibilities!
