US toy giant Hasbro recently unveiled a monumental new MARVEL-themed project: a towering 81 cm (approximately 32 inches) tall Galactus action figure, meticulously crafted from over 300 individual parts. This colossal collectible is now open for crowdfunding! If this HasLab project successfully reaches its funding goal, it's slated for a Fall 2022 release.
The Marvel Legends Galactus Action Figure, making its debut in this crowdfunding initiative, faithfully recreates the iconic armored giant from the comics. Boasting an impressive 70 points of articulation across its massive frame, each arm features 20 points of articulation, complemented by fully articulated fingers for dynamic posing. Its distinctive purple helmet and chest armor also feature LED light-up functions, alongside intricately sculpted blue and purple battle armor. Three interchangeable faceplates allow for a range of emotional expressions. Overall, the figure showcases a level of craftsmanship truly befitting a cosmic deity, with its colossal size further emphasized when posed alongside standard 6-inch Marvel Legends figures! It's absolutely massive!
Additionally, the Hasbro Pulse website notes that if the project succeeds, every backer will receive 70,000 Marvel Insider points. These points can be redeemed for issues #48-50 of the 1966 "Fantastic Four" comic series, allowing fans to revisit Galactus's very first appearance.
