Following the popular "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba" themed DX Nichirin Sword toy series for children from Bandai, which previously released versions for Tanjiro Kamado, Shinobu Kocho, and Zenitsu Agatsuma, the company is now releasing its fourth installment: the "DX Nichirin Sword – Kyojuro Rengoku Edition." This new collectible is priced at 5,995 JPY and is currently available for pre-order on the official website, with an expected release in September 2021.
Designed for children, the DX Nichirin Sword series balances playability and safety. The fourth release, the "DX Nichirin Sword – Kyojuro Rengoku Edition," faithfully recreates Kyojuro Rengoku's iconic Nichirin Sword. Measuring an impressive 58 cm (approximately 23 inches) in length, the blade features fiery effects and a light-up mode, capturing the dynamic look of burning flames! It also comes loaded with 36 different sound effects and character lines from the series.
Pressing the button on the side of the Nichirin Sword's hilt allows you to cycle through the sound effects. Among the 36 built-in sounds are six different attack sound effects and special lines from the "Flame Breathing Mode." Additionally, a "Story Mode" recreates famous scenes, featuring intense battle lines from Upper Rank Three demon, Akaza! Finally, a fun and humorous "Big Brother Mode" (アニキモード) lets you relive scenes where characters call out to Rengoku as "Big Brother"!
