Following the successful first wave, Bandai Candy's highly popular "ANIMAGEAR" series, known for its assembly, articulated frames, and customizable features, is set to release its enhanced "ANIMAGEAR DE" line's second wave in November 2021.
The evolved "ANIMAGEAR DE (DOUBLE EDGE)" features tool-free part runners, allowing collectors to easily snap off pieces by hand for more convenient assembly, play, and customization. This enhanced version also introduces additional armor pegs, humanoid head parts, and the brand-new "TWIN CROSS UP" two-unit combination system, offering even greater freedom for modification, swapping parts, and creating unique new forms!
The "ANIMAGEAR DE" second wave will feature five new units:
1.DRAGERS XENOFLAME
This new unit is an enhanced and repaired version of the dragon-humanoid BLAZE DRAGERS. It incorporates the latest technologies, including a transforming dragon mode and the TWIN CROSS UP combination system. Crucially, the dangerous "Forbidden Burst System (FBS)" has been completely removed, significantly boosting its performance. This change has also mellowed its previously aggressive and extreme personality. Now, as an Emperor-class machine, it voluntarily maintains peace and order in the city.
2.TRANS MANTIRAID
Developed by the International ANIMAGEAR Federation's R&D department, TRANS MANTIRAID is a mantis-type ANIMAGEAR created after meticulously gathering data on Emperor-class machines. This unit boasts performance capable of rivaling an Emperor machine on its own. In its insect form, it excels at enemy reconnaissance and battle pattern analysis. Once it transforms into its humanoid mode, it uses this analysis to launch attacks, creating an overwhelming advantage that leaves opponents no chance to retaliate.
3.CERBERU GARUGEAS
A three-headed Cerberus-type ANIMAGEAR, CERBERU GARUGEAS is equipped with an ultra-compact internal combustion engine. This allows it to operate covertly in the darkest nights, without relying on stickers to absorb solar energy. Its stealth capabilities are exceptional, enabling it to silently and decisively eliminate targets. While ruthless and mission-focused during operations, it strictly adheres to its directives and will never attack anyone outside of its designated mission objective.
4.RABBIDOL FRAPPALE
On the surface, RABBIDOL FRAPPALE forms an idol group with her sister unit, "RABBIDOL CHOCOLATHE." In reality, she serves as a secretary for the International ANIMAGEAR Federation. While she appears fashionable, lively, and cute, her true personality is that of an unpredictable "ice queen." As a battlefield idol, she performs alongside CHOCOLATHE to hype up the combat atmosphere.
5.RABBIDOL CHOCOLATHE
RABBIDOL CHOCOLATHE, who also forms an idol group with her sister unit "RABBIDOL FRAPPALE," is actually a receptionist for the International ANIMAGEAR Federation. Though she presents a calm and composed demeanor, her personality is one that greets everyone with vibrant energy.
