Premier Japanese statue manufacturer Prime 1 Studio recently unveiled a new addition to their "Legacy Museum Collection" series: the "Tyrannosaurus Rex & Carnotaurus" 1/15 scale diorama statue, inspired by "Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom"! Both a Regular Edition and a DX Edition will be released simultaneously, with an estimated shipping window from October 2022 to January 2023.
This piece meticulously recreates the intense scene from "Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom" where the Carnotaurus, poised to attack Owen and his group, is suddenly caught by the Tyrannosaurus Rex, which then lets out a thunderous roar. Standing approximately 49 cm tall and an astonishing 90 cm long, the diorama perfectly captures the T-Rex's dominant presence as the apex predator. The Carnotaurus, pinned beneath its foot, conveys a profound sense of helplessness. Owen stands nearby, and scattered rocks, broken logs, and branches further enhance the depiction of Isla Nublar's environment as seen in the film.
The DX Edition further enhances the display with an additional Gyrosphere part that can be swapped with one of the scattered rocks. It would be even more perfect if Claire and Franklin, terrified inside, were also included!
