BANDAI SPIRITS' collector's toy division, TAMASHII NATIONS, has officially announced the latest addition to their popular "S.H.Figuarts" line: the "Imperialdramon Fighter Mode Premium Color Edition" from the "Digimon" series, slated for release in December 2021.
In "Digimon Adventure 02," the ancient Dragon Digimon Imperialdramon achieves its Ultimate form by evolving from Paildramon, which itself is a DNA Digivolution of ExVeemon and Stingmon. Known as the Emperor Dragon who reigned over the ancient Digital World, Imperialdramon's base Dragon Mode possesses immense power but is notoriously wild and difficult to control. Upon gaining intellect and successfully mastering its power, Imperialdramon can Mode Change into its true combat form, "Fighter Mode." In this state, its signature attack, "Mega Death," fired from the dark matter cannon on its chest, is amplified tenfold to the devastating "Giga Death."
The "S.H.Figuarts Imperialdramon Fighter Mode Premium Color Edition" utilizes the same sculpt as the standard version released in 2014. It boasts a sleek and stylish design, articulated wings, and comes equipped with its iconic Positron Laser and effect parts for its "Giga Death" attack, inspired by its appearance in the movie, allowing fans to recreate dynamic battle poses.
This Premium Color Edition features an entirely revamped paint scheme, offering a luxurious upgrade with rich metallic and pearl finishes. The exposed body parts between the armor are treated with a matte, rough texture, reminiscent of fur, while the gold armor components receive an electroplated finish for an even more opulent look.
