Following the popular "More! No-Face Munching Coin Bank" and the "SEIKO Commemorative Watch," they have now unveiled the first new item in the series: the "Spirited Away Witch's Contract Seal"! This exquisite piece has a suggested retail price of 25,300 JPY and was exclusively available from July 22 to August 23, 2021, at Donguri Republic's "Bettei" stores and the Donguri-Sora online shop in Japan.
Studio Ghibli's highest-grossing film, "Spirited Away" (千と千尋の神隠し), was directed and written by Hayao Miyazaki and first released in Japan in 2001, later winning the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature in 2003. The story follows ten-year-old Chihiro Ogino, who, along with her parents, gets lost and stumbles into a mysterious spirit world, embarking on a fantastical journey through the "Bathhouse." Beyond its stunning visuals and moving score, the film's rich character designs, including Haku, No-Face, and Yubaba, along with its underlying allegories, remain a constant source of discussion among fans.
This new product brings to life the "Witch's Contract Seal," a crucial item from the film! Not only does it faithfully recreate the frog carving on the seal, but it is also crafted from natural carnelian stone.
