A true legend of American professional wrestling! Japanese toy brand 16 directions (known in Japan as Juurokuhoui, or simply 16d), renowned for its impressive lineup of pro-wrestler sofubi figures, is set to release a new product. This time, they're bringing the iconic American wrestling legend, Hulk Hogan, to life. The figures are slated for an October 2021 release.
Long-time fans of American wrestling will undoubtedly be familiar with Hulk Hogan. He was arguably the most recognizable wrestler in America during the 1980s. Tall, muscular, with his signature blonde hair and immense strength, his entrance music, "Real American," perfectly encapsulated his persona at the time and was incredibly catchy. His devastating "Leg Drop" finisher was a sight to behold, and his iconic "Hulk Up" sequence – where he'd seemingly go berserk when in trouble – never failed to captivate the audience, electrifying the atmosphere to its peak.

These 16d Hulk Hogan sofubi figures capture his iconic pose, often seen as he rallied the crowd for cheers and applause during his entrances. Two versions are available: the classic "Hulkamania" look, featuring his signature red and yellow colors with the "Hulkamania" logo emblazoned on his gear, and a second version depicting his villainous "Hollywood Hulk Hogan" persona from his time with the New World Order (NWO), predominantly in black. Beyond the distinct attire, both versions also feature differences in hand gestures and facial hair details.
