Hong Kong-based toy brand threezero has officially announced the latest addition to its new die-cast articulated robot series, "ROBO-DOU," with the reveal of "Dancouga (Kelvin Sau Design Version)" from "Super Beast Machine God Dancouga." This highly anticipated release is slated for a Q3 2022 launch (July-September).

In the series, Dr. Hazuki secretly developed four super weapons, known as "Beast Machines," to combat the invading alien empire from another dimension. Four young pilots, including Shinobu Fujiwara, were recruited from the officer academy to command them. These four powerful Beast Machines boast a triple transformation system, shifting between normal, beast, and robot forms. They can further combine to form the colossal robot "Dancouga," unleashing its full combat potential. Dancouga draws immeasurable power by sensing the pilots' mental energy, though this immense power also places a significant burden on their minds and bodies.

The "ROBO-DOU Dancouga (Kelvin Sau Design Version)" features a reinterpreted design by threezero's lead mechanical toy designer, Kelvin Sau. This iteration showcases a strong influence from threezero's past "Transformers" releases, enhancing the original sleek design with richer details and a more three-dimensional silhouette.

All four Beast Machines are fully articulated, boasting a total of 203 points of articulation. Crafted with some die-cast metal parts, each unit can independently transform into its various forms. Furthermore, they can combine to form the Super Beast Machine God Dancouga, standing an impressive 33.5cm tall (including the cannon)!

For weaponry and accessories, the set includes Dancouga's signature "Dankuken" sword, the back-mounted "Flight Booster," and various interchangeable hand parts. The individual beam guns and impulse guns from the four Beast Machines can also be combined to form the massive "Dankouhou" cannon!
