From Bandai Spirits' TAMASHII NATIONS collector's division, the popular S.H.Figuarts action figure line continues to expand its "Dragon Ball Z" offerings. Following releases like the Earth-Raised Saiyan and Tien Shinhan & Chiaotzu, TAMASHII NATIONS is finally releasing the ultimate "life winner," the S.H.Figuarts Krillin -The Strongest Man on Earth- action figure! Priced at 5,500 JPY, the figure is slated for a January 2022 release.
A pivotal character introduced early in the "Dragon Ball" series, Krillin (クリリン) is one of Akira Toriyama's favorite fighters and is often considered the strongest Earthling (up until the Majin Buu Saga in the original manga). He's been protagonist Goku's training partner and best friend since childhood, appearing from the start with his distinctive bald head and lack of a nose. Later in the story, he marries Android 18 and has a daughter, Marron. Regardless of whether Krillin is truly the strongest Earthling in terms of power, marrying Android 18 has solidified his status as the ultimate "life winner" in the eyes of fans.
The S.H.Figuarts Krillin -The Strongest Man on Earth- action figure stands approximately 11.5 cm tall. After a nine-year hiatus, S.H.Figuarts Krillin makes his grand return with an all-new sculpt! This newly sculpted figure incorporates the enhanced articulation mechanism seen in the S.H.Figuarts Super Saiyan 4 line, which allows for greater upward arm movement. This expanded range of motion enables more dynamic poses for signature moves like the Kamehameha and Solar Flare. Accessories include three interchangeable face plates and several swap-out hand parts, including a hand holding a Senzu Bean. Combined with the Destructo Disc effect part, collectors can recreate a variety of Krillin's iconic poses!
