BANDAI SPIRITS Hobby Division today (26th) announced the upcoming release of the latest item in their highly diverse 1/144 scale Gunpla "HG (High Grade)" series: the "HG 1/144 Gundam Zabanya (Final Battle Specification)," based on "Mobile Suit Gundam 00 the Movie -A wakening of the Trailblazer-." This kit is slated for release in December 2021 and will be sold exclusively through the official Premium Bandai online store.
The GN-010 Gundam Zabanya is a 5th-generation Gundam developed by Celestial Being, a culmination of technology from the Gundam Dynames and Gundam Cherudim. Piloted by Lyle Dylandy, it's classified as a sniper-type mobile suit, yet its armaments and performance are finely tuned to Lyle's combat style. The unit is heavily equipped with "GN Missiles," and its distinctive "GN Holster Bits" are mounted on both sides. These can be remotely operated as shields or used to attack with their internal "GN Rifle Bits II" and "GN Pistol Bits," enabling all-range offense and defense with the assistance of two Haro AI units. During the final battle against the ELS, Gundam Zabanya was further enhanced with higher-performance sensors and four additional "GN Holster Bits," significantly boosting its overall firepower.
The "HG 1/144 Gundam Zabanya (Final Battle Specification)" utilizes the base body from the previously released HG 1/144 Gundam Zabanya kit. In addition to the 10 "GN Holster Bits" already mounted on the main body's sides, this version includes newly molded backpack parts, movable hangers, four more "GN Holster Bits," and four "GN Rifle Bits II." This allows fans to recreate the awesome all-range attack scenes from the movie's final battle!
The newly added four "GN Rifle Bits II" can be stored within the "GN Holster Bits."
